Welcome Aboard The Reel Therapy Charters About Us page, I am Steve Crowley.
This is so much more than just a Charter Operation for me, it’s a lifestyle ingrained for generations, following in my father’s footsteps, as he did his father before him. I feel totally privileged to be able to continue this family tradition, and to now have the opportunity of sharing this journey with like-minded people wanting to experience what the Marlborough Sounds has to offer.
Being out on the water is quite simply in the blood and is without doubt my first passion. Truth be known, I probably enjoy myself out on the water more so than my customers. After being inspired by my father who built his first boat in the 1980’s, Hartley Designed Glass over Ply. I spent the first decade of my career building boats for a living, and built my own first boat in the 1990’s. Decades on, after becoming a Dive Master and logging over 500 dives throughout the Marlborough Sounds, I realised my true calling was all about sharing our amazing country, and I share this with absolute pride.
For a true, yet upmarket kiwi camping experience, I highly recommend the Parklands Marine Holiday Park. Hayley and Nick always provide the warmest of welcomes. www.parktostay.co.nz

“Thanks Steve for a truly memorable day out, on what has to be one of the most picturesque spots in the world. Will definitely book Reel Therapy again next time we are in Town.”
